WELCOME to SHEARWATER Motel ... in the heart of Whitianga, New Zealand, offers accommodation at reasonable rates, with comfortable rooms, all amenities and a great location. The Coromandel and the surrounding Mercury Bay area offer many great attractions for you to while away your day, or take advantage of our wonderful Solar heated swimming pool and BBQ area that backs right onto the Estuary. The back gate leads you out onto a private little jetty and beach. At low tide you can walk out onto the sand bank and collect cockles. At high tide you could take the dinghy out and try your luck at a spot of fishing, if you haven't brought your own boat with you, for which there is ample parking available. We have 2 kayaks available for our guests to use free.
